Trip Scheme

Poulton Children Centre trip scheme in conjunction with Signposts MARC.

Poulton Children's Centre secured funding from Wyre Children and Young People's Trust to help towards the cost of the summer trip scheme held over five weeks in the summer holidays for children with special educational needs and disabilities. The children greatly enjoyed the trips which included the Morecambe SuperBowl, The Lancaster Butterfly House, Chester Zoo, the World Museum Liverpool and a trip on the lake cruises and steam train. Each child was able to have specialist one to one care allowing parents and carers a welcome respite break. Feedback from the scheme was very positive and we have a long list of suggested trips to run in future.
