Aspire Programme

South Ribble Children and Young People's Trust commissioned Aspire. This is working with families to raise aspirations and reduce levels of poverty by increasing the numbers of families engaging in learning opportunities.

A joint approach between neighbouring Trusts to support children, young people and families, the Child Action Northwest's 'Familywise' service has been commissioned jointly by Chorley and South Ribble Children and Young People's Trusts to provide an Early Support and Intervention Service.

Shout Out

The challenge for young people was to develop a mechanism that ensured their views were gathered on a large scale so services and activities could be delivered in the way that they wanted. Young people negotiated with the District Trust and agreed the themes for the consultation.
