Lancashire Child Health Profiles

Lancashire County Council's draft corporate strategy identifies 34 Service Planning Area (SPA) geographies across Lancashire. Child health outcome data analysed at this level give an overview of children and young people’s health across the county and where the most need is. The aim of these profiles is to inform the redesign of the 0-19 years Children’s Public Health services, to allow effective allocation of resources and services where children’s health needs are the greatest and opportunities to reduce inequalities are greatest. These documents were created in collaboration between LCC's Children and Young People's Public Health team and Business Intelligence unit who analysed the data at SPA level and created the mapping presented in the profiles.
