Lancashire Improving Futures Programme

The Lancashire Improving Futures Programme is a 'whole system change' programme that is sponsored jointly by Lancashire Children and Young People's Trust Board and Lancashire Safeguarding Children Board.

The programme will deliver a changed approach to working with families and is underpinned by five key transformational principles: shared locations, shared information, shared ownership, shared pathways and shared commissioning/delivery.

A programme board, made up of members of the Trust Board and Safeguarding Board, will oversee the work of six Multi-Agency Project Boards that will drive forward the following priorities:

Common Assessment Framework (CAF) / Continuum of Need (CoN)

Integrated Working

Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hubs (MASH)

Workforce Development

Working Together With Families (WTWF)

In addition, three workstreams will provide support across the programme around:

Communication and Engagement

Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

Information Sharing
