CSE Awareness Week 2015

Child Sexual Exploitation Awareness Week is now in action!

Tackling CSE is a shared strategic priority for many organisations in Lancashire and once which brings together skills and expertise from all sectors.  A great deal of work takes place throughout the year to tackle this issue but in order to reinforce messages and to demonstrate a joined up approach, agencies county-wide have signed up for this CSE awareness week.

Each day of the week will focus on a key theme as detailed below, with two conferences taking place on Wednesday 11 November - one for practitioners and one for young people.  Posters, leaflets and contact cards have been developed and will be distributed through multi-agency teams throughout the week.

  • Monday: Online Abuse
  • Tuesday: Boys and Young Men
  • Wednesday: Residential Units
  • Thursday: Foster Carers
  • Friday: Taxis and Transportation

The links below provide access to campaign messages, social media calendar and images for use on your own websites throughout the week.  Please share this information with your networks and encourage the use of campaign materials and social media 'retweets' and 'likes' in order to raise awareness.  You can also find out more at http://www.lancashire.police.uk/campaigns/child-sexual-exploitation-cse-awareness-week.aspx and on Twitter and Facebook.
