Young Researchers needed...

Lancaster University are looking for young men aged 18-22 to joing a small research team based at Lancaster University Faculty of Public Health...

Members of the research team will jointly design and conduct a 6 month piece of social research into 'Young men and Pornography'.

No formal research training is required and the team are looking primarily to recruit candidates who have a strong understanding and ability to empathise with the experiences of boys and young men growing up in an internet age.  In addition to this, any experiences of facilitating, leading or participating in projects designed to enable young people to express their opinions, such as focus groups, youth forums, questionnaires for young people, or crative media projects is an advantage.  This experience could be as a participant or volunteer.

Successful candidates must have an understanding of the online spaces and the world which young men communicate and access information in, and the way in which young men use the internet.
