Lancashire Domestic Abuse Prevention Programme

Lancashire County Council has recently commissioned services to support victims and their families suffering from domestic abuse. We are now looking to develop a service to prevent domestic abuse perpertrators....'Lancashire Domestic Abuse Prevention Programme (LDAPP)

LDAPP will cover all districts of Lancashire (Lancaster, Fylde, Wyre, Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale, Hyndburn, Ribble Valley, West Lancashire, Preston, Chorley and South Ribble) and will work as a preventative service to challenge and change the perpetrators' problematic behaviours.

Lancashire County Council is working closely with Respect (http://respect.uk.net) to host a one off 'Provider Open Day' in Lancashire, with the intention of:

  • enabling the development of a rich service provider market
  • sharing experience of delivering domestic abuse prevention programmes
  • developing integrated working arrangements for service delivery within Lancashire
  • ensuring good value for money

We would like to take the opportunity to invite you along to the 'Provider Open Day' on Tuesday 9 September, 1.00pm - 4.00pm, at County Hall, Preston.  An agenda is attached for more information, if you would like to book a place or have any questions, please contact sophie.valinakis@lancashire.gov.uk
