'eSafety Live in Lancashire'

In partnership with colleagues at the UK Safer Internet Centre, Lancashire Safeguarding Children Board are hosting two 2 hour 'eSafety Live in Lancashire' sessions on Thursday 30 January 2014

The sessions provide short, sharp updates in online safeguarding, regarding a number of areas and will include local priorities in Lancashire; the renewed focus on eSafety in the updated Ofsted Inspection Framework (September 2013); advice around the related requirements of the Education Act and an overview of the latest technologies, research and threats (including Social Media).

The sessions are free of charge, and are aimed at School Senior Leadership Teams, the wider Children's workforce and those colleagues with Safeguarding responsibilities.  They provide an invaluable opportunity to hear from nationally-recognised figures in Online Safety.
