Safer Sleep for Baby resources now available

Lancashire's Safeguarding Children Boards launched the Safer Sleep for Baby campaign in December and the resources to accompany the campaign are now in circulation.

Safer Sleep for Baby is a development of the previous Give Me Room to Breathe campaign and aims to raise awareness of the risks associated with Sudden and Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI) and help reduce the number of babies dying.

The resources are going to be sent out in a number of ways including; in registration packs and through Children's Centres, GP's surgeries and by health visitors.

There are a number of resources available online including materials for notice boards.

For more information about the campaign visit and search 'safer sleep for baby'.
