LSCB - new procedures and guidance

New procedures and guidance have been approved by the Lancashire Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB).

The new documents relate to:

  • Supervision standards
  • Support for staff following the death of a child
  • Procedure for children and young people who display sexually harmful behaviour

In addition, the LSCB has agreed that the procedure for Sexually Active Under 18s should be amended in relation to sexually active under 13s. It has been agreed that all sexually active children under 13 years of age must be referred to Children's Social Care without exception. The attached document sets out the amendments as specified.
