This website is currently under review and information may not be accurate. We are refreshing the overarching partnership priorities for children and young people in Lancashire and expect these to be published, supported by new governance arrangements, in autumn 2018.

CYP Active Participation Audit

This audit forms an important part of the delivery of the Active Participation Strategy. It will ensure we have a strong evidence base that will determine how we develop participation work. The audit will enable us to identify and build upon the skills, experiences and knowledge of the many organisations that already ensure that children and young people influence their service delivery.

The information collected will be used to identify gaps, tailor support and share skills and capacity.  It will help to avoid duplication and to create a structure where children and young people's participation is recognised and acted upon. Individual responses will be confidential and non attributable.

Who should complete this audit?

If your service or organisation actively involves children and young people in the way decisions are made or in planning and reviewing activity then please complete this audit. The audit does not include where children and young people participate in their own care.  It is about groups that meet to influence service planning, delivery and strategy.

If you have any questions regarding the CYP Active Participation Audit, please contact Sally Temple.

Completed audit forms should be returned by Thursday 5 April 2012 to sally.temple@lancashire.gov.uk or by post to: Sally Temple, Lancashire CYP Trust Team, County Hall (Room B2), Preston   PR1 8RJ
