Inspiring and Involving Young People - Training

The Lancashire involved team are offering third sector and public organisations the opportunity to access a free one day training course aimed at developing knowledge and skills to 'Inspire and Involve' young people.  The training will cover topics including; role of a mentor, maximising body language, understanding the principles of motivation and developing a process to give effective support to young volunteer within your organisation. 

The Lancashire involved team are committed to ensuring that organisations across Lancashire build their capacity to support young volunteers and we are keen for third sector/not for profit organisations to participate in this training.  Attached is a training overview, if you would like to book a place please email for a booking form.  Please note that there are limited places and they will be allocated on a first come first served basis.  Places are limited to one per organisation.

The dates for training are:

Burnley and Pendle area 25th February - Burnley Football Club

Chorley and South Ribble area 23rd March - Leyland Hotel

Hyndburn, Rossendale & Ribble Valley 2nd March - Oswaldthwistle Mills Business Centre
