Welcome to West Lancashire Children and Young People's Trust website

District Children and Young People's Trusts ensure that services for children and young people are tailored to the needs of the local commmunity and that these communities are engaged in the decisions about how services will be delivered.

Priorities for West Lancashire are:

  • Narrow the Gap in Educational Attainment
  • Increase Proportion of CYP With a Healthy Weight
  • Reduce Risk Taking Behaviour
  • Things to Do, Places to Go
  • Increase the Proportion of YP who are EET

Meetings

Each District Children and Young People's Trust has received funding to support Prevention and Early Intervention activity in the district to support the delivery of the priority areas.  Updates on Prevention and Early Intervention work in the district and opportunities for funding will be advertised on the following page:
