Children and Young People's Plan
Our Children and Young People's Plan (CYPP) for 2011 - 2014 shares our vision of how Lancashire Children and Young People's Trust will continue its work in making a positive difference to the children and young people in Lancashire. We have outlined what the priorities are for all partners of the Trust for the next few years and how we aim to achieve our vision.
We published the Trust's first plan in 2006 and since then, working together, we have already made a real difference for children and young people. Information about some of the significant improvements we have seen has been included in this new plan.
When devising this plan we have had to take into account some dramatic changes being planned for children's services at a national level, many of which are happening very quickly. This plan reflects our joint priorities which are based on real evidence of need and the views of our children and young people and, above all, is a statement of our commitment. We will do our utmost to make sure that all of Lancashire’s children and young people, especially those who need the most support, have the best we can give them. We want our children and young people to be able to fulfil their potential and make a successful transition to a healthy, prosperous and fulfilling adult life.
